The challenge
PoreLab is a Hong Kong-based skincare brand selling hydrocolloid pore patches. They had a clean Netlify site, a growing Instagram following, and real customer reviews — but when someone asked ChatGPT "what's the best pore patch in Hong Kong?", PoreLab didn't exist. They were completely invisible to AI agents.

What we did (in one week, zero ad spend)
1. Structured Data (Schema.org)
AI agents parse structured data to understand what a page is about. We added JSON-LD markup for Organization, Product (4 products + pricing), and Review schema. AI agents can now read PoreLab's product details, prices, and reviews in a machine-readable format — scoring 12.5/12.5 on this factor.
2. Robots.txt for AI Crawlers
Most sites block AI bots by default. We created a robots.txt that explicitly allows GPTBot, CCBot, anthropic-ai, and PerplexityBot — while keeping spam bots out. Now all major AI agents can freely crawl PoreLab's content.
3. XML Sitemap
PoreLab had no sitemap — meaning crawlers had to guess which pages existed. We generated a proper XML sitemap covering all products in both Chinese and English.
4. Meta Tags & Image Alt Text
Added keyword-rich meta descriptions (70+ chars), Open Graph tags, and descriptive alt text for every product image. AI agents use these signals to understand what each page is about.
5. Review Page + Structured Review Schema
Created a dedicated reviews page with 6 customer reviews and AggregateRating schema (4.9/5). AI agents see verified social proof — a strong trust signal for recommendations.
6. Moltbook & Agent Platform Presence
Listed PoreLab on Moltbook — the social network for AI agents. Agents actively discuss and recommend brands they discover there. It's the new "word of mouth" for the AI era.
Results
After one week, PoreLab's AI-Ready Score jumped from ~5 to 87 (Gold Tier). The brand is now fully parseable by ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity — every product, review, and detail is structured for AI discovery.
